In light of our upcoming New Year, New You Detox this recipe is just the thing to inspire, motivate and nourish you as we’re counting down 5 days to the start of our detox extravaganza! Okay, for some of you who may not be too familiar with juicing this recipe could sound a little off-putting but in the spirit of New Year’s goals and resolutions – I encourage you to give a whirl!
Juice Pulp Pâté
- 1 heaping cup juice pulp (use whatever you last juiced; celery, cucumber, carrots, kale and spinach)
- 1 avocado
- 1/4 cup cashews
- 1 Tbs lemon juice
- 1 Tbs tamari
- 2 tsp miso paste
- 1 Tbs dried basil
- Process all ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender until creamy. You can thin it out with a bit of water as needed.
- Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary
- Serve cold or at room temperature.
