Detox Smoothies, Juices and Pâté…

In light of our upcoming New Year, New You Detox this recipe is just the thing to inspire, motivate and nourish you as we’re counting down 5 days to the start of our detox extravaganza! Okay, for some of you who may not be too familiar with juicing this recipe could sound a little off-putting but in the spirit of New Year’s goals and resolutions – I encourage you to give a whirl!

Juice Pulp Pâté


  • 1 heaping cup juice pulp (use whatever you last juiced; celery, cucumber, carrots, kale and spinach)
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 cup cashews
  • 1 Tbs lemon juice
  • 1 Tbs tamari
  • 2 tsp miso paste
  • 1 Tbs dried basil


  • Process all ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender until creamy. You can thin it out with a bit of water as needed.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary
  • Serve cold or at room temperature.
