“Cultivate a heart of love that knows no anger” — Cambodian Proverb
For the month of February and in light of Valentine’s Day here at Yin Yang Yogis we’re sharing information on all matters of love and our hearts. As you know, our 4th chakra, our heart chakra, is the seat of love – and love in all its forms, paradoxically it is also the seat of anger, grief, hatred, and loneliness. However, when these negative feelings arise, which can be triggered from a number of sources such as past relationships, memories and/or heartbreak we can turn to our heart center to heal ourselves.
Centrally located in our body, the fourth chakra is the balance between the body and spirit. This chakra is the place where unconditional love resides. Unconditional love is a creative and powerful energy that can guide and help us through our most difficult times. This energy is available in any moment, we have the ability to cultivate this love by turning our attention inward and on love. This awareness will then free us from our limits, fears and anger allowing for our hearts to only radiate love.
